Drinking water is kinda REALLY important!!!! Did you know that a newborn is 75% water when born??? That is a lot of water content. Then just one short year later, they drop 10% to 65% water content. Newborn: 75% water 1 year later: 65% water Adult men: 60% water Adult women: 55% water Elderly: 50% So basically, drying out is the aging process over time!! "There are variations, of course. The more buff you are (muscle tissue stores more water) the wetter you are. Because women generally have more fat cells, they tend to be a bit drier. Fat cells aren't as moist. The water that lubricates your joints, flushes your waste (I'm talking about pee), assists seminal reproduction, and absorbs shocks to your bones — as you age, the moisturizer in you slowly dwindles." We NEED water!!!! Remember, you're trying to eliminate free radicals, toxins, and any excess sloughing off of anything unwanted in the body. Your body works hard for you to get them out! Drinking plenty of water helps your body do that job. Give it what it needs. Amount? 1/2 to 1 oz. of water per pound. Blah blah blah RIGHTTTT???? Water is good for you... end of story!!
